Eco-Expeditions are our land-based programs specifically designed to showcase the unique natural and cultural attributes of destinations worldwide. Our groups are small, allowing for excellent close-up observation of birds and wildlife, as well as meaningful interactions with the local people.

The varied landscapes and waterways we explore require that we use an equally varied array of transportation, from comfortable and modern to the most traditional, selecting each conveyance based upon the needs, and sometimes customs, of each region. We strive to ensure that the mode of transport is more than just a way of getting from point A to point B; it is an integral part of the adventure travel experience. To accomplish this, we travel by a variety of means: 4x4 vehicle, plane, helicopter, or local transportation such as small motor coaches or river boat. In some of the more exotic locales, where roads are few or too rough, we may journey by dugout canoe or even on elephant back.

Our own leaders and local guides are always on hand to ensure we reach our destination as comfortably and as well-informed as possible.
