The Maldives Aggressor is specifically designed for dive and snorkel expeditions while providing a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. With a nine-foot draft and a cruising speed of 12 knots, she is the perfect vessel for maneuvering the network of channels throughout the Maldives Islands. Ten deluxe staterooms accommodating 20 passengers, offer sleeping arrangements with a twin or double bunk bed option, an en suite bathroom with shower, porthole, individual climate control, LCD TV, and DVD/MP3 player. The onboard staff includes a gourmet chef, dive master, and a warm and friendly Maldivian crew. Most dive entries and exits will be from the ship's 55-foot tender, known in the Maldives as a dhoni.

Maldives Aggressor

General

Three decks of passenger facilities.
Main deck - All passenger cabins.
Middle deck - Dining room, lounge, and bar.
Top deck - Partially covered sun deck with wet bar, hot tub, chaise lounges, and a grill.
Smoking is allowed only in a designated area on the Top Deck.

Cabins

All staterooms are located on the Main Deck.
Category I cabins feature two twin bunks and Category II cabins have a double bed and single bunk above.
All staterooms feature an en suite bathroom with shower, closet, porthole, individual AC climate control, and hairdryer.

Dining

The dining room holds all passengers at one seating.
The menu is varied and plentiful, including American fare, barbecues, and local cuisine.
Special dietary requests can be accommodated with advanced notice.

Services

  • 55-foot dive tender (dhoni) that can accommodate all passengers.
  • Lounge has an entertainment center and computer station with Internet access.
  • A small gift shop carries a limited supply of necessities as well as ship gift items.
  • U.S. dollars, Rufiyaa (Maldives currency), traveler's checks, MasterCard, and Visa are accepted as payment for services rendered on board.
  • The U.S. dollar is the currency used on board.
  • We recommend that you bring your own equipment but a full range of snorkel and dive gear is available at a charge and must be arranged in advance.
  • The Maldives Aggressor has a complete photo and video center and is equipped with state of the art digital photo and video equipment.
  • Photographic equipment is available to rent on board.
  • Electricity is 240 volts and plugs are 3 prong, type G. You will need an international adaptor and converter.
  • The Maldives Aggressor has a strobe charging station and large table designated for camera and video equipment.
